Dr. Dana Vasilescu is a plastic surgery consultant with King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh, part of the Ministry of National Guard Health Affairs.
Dr. Dana Vasilescu's education has shaped her medical career.
She started with an MD from Bucharest's University of Medicine and Pharmacy "Carol Davila". After her specialization with a certificate of completion of training in plastic surgery and reconstructive microsurgery in Bucharest, Dr. Vasilescu completed her PhD in plastic surgery at the same institution. She is now working toward a European master's in breast reconstruction at Universitat Autonoma in Barcelona.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vasilescu has participated in highly specialized workshops and master classes covering key areas of her field. Some of these areas are autologous breast reconstruction, microvascular surgery using animal models, and advanced reconstructive techniques for both soft tissue and peripheral nerves.
